Transcript for 7/1/24: CHEAP FAKE! THE ART OF BEING MORBIDLY OBTUSE W/ DAVID KNIGHT

Over the weekend I had a great time speaking at The Big Foot Festival here in Oregon. It was good to see Sarah Lemos after so many years, Dave Schrader was in rare form as much of what he said made me inspired and laughing out loud, and Ronny Lablanc was truly the one most sought after because of his celebrity status hunting down and getting up close and persona with bigfoot.

I met a lot of listeners and fans – the vibe at this conference was very positive. So many great people. I had a very excited person come up to me –who looked like one of the guys from Duck Dynasty. He had some footage on his cell phone of something that was moving in the dark near his truck near Longview Washington. Whatever it was whistled at him and then with a grunt walked out of the camera’s view.

Whatever it was, it certainly fits the old axiom, seeing is believing.

However, I have attended a lot of Bigfoot festivals, and many of the researchers I have spoken to – don’t even see videos as evidence. The reason of course is that now with A.I. no one really needs an effects studio to make a video of a Bigfoot encounter – and people can be easily duped into believing that a video is genuine when it most certainly is a deep fake.

I like the videos – but again I remember the advice from researchers, not to believe what you see.

It makes it difficult to trust what you are seeing.

By the end of Saturday, and being in the sun for three hours, I was feeling achy and tired, but somehow managed to get caught in the repetitive saga of the fiasco that happened last Thursday night at the debate between President Biden and former President Donald Trump.

The more I watched the mainstream media the more I realized something that in my opinion proves that all of what happened was a setup -- it was yet another example of gaslighting the audience into thinking that everyone is so surprised that all of this happened the way it did.

The more I thought about this the more I realized how stupid we all are if we think that suddenly the liberals are just now realizing that they have been morbidly obtuse about all of the denial, lies, and gaslighting they have been doing for the last 4 years.

Are we supposed to believe this twist ending to the Biden campaign? Are we supposed to be so naive not to figure out that Superman is really Clark Kent?

Are we supposed to believe that all the liberals in Washington couldn't figure it out?

How do politicians, diplomats, the media, and even the human rights community keep us politically ignorant, docile, and passive – a collective mindset that prevents us from challenging their power and the status quo they benefit from?

The answer is by constantly misrepresenting reality to us and their own role in shaping it. And they do it so successfully because, at the same time, they gaslight us by flaunting the pretense that they crave to make the world a better place – a better place where, in truth, the unspoken danger is that, were those advances to be realized, their own power would be severely diminished.

This has been happening for a long time -- and the media denies it.

Heading into the presidential debate, the White House and the media attacked Fox News and other outlets for “cheap fake” videos designed to make the President look confused and feeble.

For months, politicians and pundits have insisted that Biden is sharp and commanding in conversations even after Special Counsel Robert Hur cited his decline as a reason for not charging him criminally for the unlawful retention and mishandling of classified material.

On MSNBC, Joe Scarborough stated “Start your tape right now because I’m about to tell you the truth. And F— you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden intellectually, and analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second. And I have known him for years…If it weren’t the truth I wouldn’t say it.”

Then the presidential debate happened and, after years of being protected by staff, tens of millions of people watched the president struggle to stay focused and responsive.

After the debate, there was a total surprise, if not shock, on CNN and MSNBC. Suddenly, it is not a cheap fake but a reality.

Just seven days before the debate, the New York Times was running cheap fake articles on how Biden was being wrongly portrayed. The day after the debate, it was calling for him to withdraw from the race after expressing shock at his appearance.

On CNN, Biden biographer and CNN contributor Evan Osnos admitted that many Americans were likely “shocked” by Biden’s appearance:

“I don’t think there’s any other way to put it. This was clearly a person who was diminished from where he was on the debate stage four years ago.”

Pro-Biden columnist Thomas Friedman wrote that he was floored by what he saw and that the “heartbreaking” appearance of Biden made him “weep.”

Washington is now full of surprises.

It appears that everyone seems to be eternally shocked by what has been obvious for years.

The president is really old, the laptop is real, and the deep state is running the country into the ground.

For the past few years, Wahington has pretended to be naive and ignorant-- about malfeasance, and just like that they now realize that Biden is too old and feeble to do his job.

It was the gaslighting media that pushed the issue into the zeitgeist.

Now we can definitely say that it is gaslighting we are witnessing -- because The mainstream media and the left can't be that morbidly obtuse.

This is not all of the embarrassing moments either.

For years, the press and pundits have repeated like gospel that Trump had called neo-Nazis “fine people.” At the time, most of us noted that Trump condemned the racists and neo-Nazis and made the statement about fine people on both sides of the controversy over the removal of historic statues.

Seven years later, Snopes finally decided to do a fact check and, surprise, found that Trump never praised neo-Nazis as fine people.

The only person not surprised was Biden who repeated the false story on Thursday as true.

Biden even mumbled that Trump told people to shoot bleach into their veins to be safe from COVID-19. Trump didn't. But the old man repeated it as gospel.

And all we heard from Biden's apologists was that he was telling the truth and only Trump was lying. Biden was lying too , but his lies were all of the talking points that the media have brought up that were later proven to be falsehoods.

How many of us have figured out that our friends are going to throw us a surprise birthday Party?? You go along with it and when the lights come on you act all surprised.

This is what Washington is doing about every lie that is being revealed as truth -- they can't cover their asses anymore so their play is to act stunned and befuddled over many things that so-called conspiracy theorists called out years ago.

The press and pundits are coming off an embarrassing couple of weeks where the Hunter Biden laptop was authenticated in federal court as real. This occurred in the trial of the president’s son almost on the anniversary of a debunked letter of intelligence officials claiming that the laptop appeared to be Russian disinformation. Biden then repeated the claim in the last presidential debates to avoid answering questions over the massive influence-peddling scheme of this family revealed by the laptop.

After the story was suppressed before the 2020 election, it took years for the media to admit that, oops, the laptop is surprisingly real.

For years, the press and pundits piled on experts who suggested that COVID-19 escaped from a Chinese lab. The New York Times reporter covering the area called it “racist” and implausible. Now, even W.H.O. accepts the lab theory as possible, and federal agencies now believe it is the most likely explanation.

This week, the Supreme Court ruled that the Justice Department has unlawfully charged hundreds of people with obstruction of an official proceeding after the January 6th riot. For years, objections to the excessive treatment of these cases were dismissed as the view of the radical right. Now, even Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson voted to toss out these convictions.

Surprise.

Whether it was the false story about agents whipping migrants in Texas or the "suckers and losers" quote reinforced by Biden again -- this being verified by one person and denied by many others -- makes it all hearsay -- but enough to get both Trump and the people riled again.

Biden has hammered the former president as an insurrectionist and guilty of several egregious crimes against democracy—even as President Biden’s attorney general has appointed a special counsel to try President Trump on just those federal charges concerning the Jan. 6 demonstrations, a dead horse that the president periodically still beats to death to scare voters.

President Biden periodically smears the half of Americans who supported or voted for President Trump as “ultra-Maga” extremists and “semi-fascists” who would destroy democracy.

Yet the more that President Biden and the left weaponize the judicial system to prevent President Trump from running, and the more the president screams and yells that Trump supporters are anti-American and anti-democratic, the more the former president soars in the polls while President Biden sinks.

The left privately knows that its historically unprecedented strangulation of democracy is increasing President Trump’s popularity. But like an addict, it can’t quit its Trump fix.

This is part of the reason we had to have the dog and pony show debate earlier than usual.

The destruction of democracy and the election meddling agenda required it.

It need never have happened, and certainly not so early.  But the earliest-ever US Presidential election debate, held even before both candidates had been formally confirmed at their party conventions, did much to puncture Biden and hold Trump afloat in odd boosts of credibility.  The media were at hand to eat on the morsels left in the slaughter.

An army of the delusional and deluded has come out with the “truthful” defense on Biden’s part.  Forget the competence of the leader, focus on the inner gold of a supposedly good character.

Vote for the Kind man who stumbles through the truth –and not the evil man who all he does is lie.

Good catch – but not enough to keep people from wanting it all to go away.

Democratic strategists, at least those reeling from the tingling shock of a cold bath, understood the implications of all of the stuttering and stammering.  Others preferred an elaborate ostrich act crowned by sycophantic reassurance.

The early debate on CNN was another passive-aggressive gaslighting event. It appears to be planned as a means to remove the old puppet from the ticket in November because the Democrats always knew that they had ZERO chance of winning with him at the helm.

The false sense of “shock” in the media is beyond the pale given they have clearly known and actively run cover to keep the truth from the American people.

I'd hate to think that the American people are that intellectually lazy... There is always the excuse that , one has responsibilities that take priority over news, research, and information gathering -- but come on.

It can't be that hard to figure out that they do not have very good writers, in the Psy-op department. It begins to hold true that the bigger the lie -- the more organized the lie is the more people will actually believe it.

The press is always pitifully proselytizing their propaganda, obfuscating perception with magic words , presuppositions, and petty pejoratives. One cannot simply accept the press on its face; to get to the truth of a matter one has to decrypt a plethora of opinion pieces and positions.

It is another example of how the Emperor is wearing no clothes.

Now for some reason, everyone is seeing it -- It is so peculiar to see this happen in real time.

In 2019, before he was even “elected”, Biden was sucking on fingers and ambling around like a care home resident for all the world to see. He’s been like this every day of his four years of Presidency.

The difference isn’t that Biden has suddenly gone senile, it’s that – for some reason – the media have decided to finally take notice.

Which means an agenda is in the offing.

They don’t need to replace him because he’s senile, as we already established he’s been senile this whole time. They don’t need to replace him to win the election either, because whoever wins the election will almost certainly be rigged.

The whole thing reeks of a set-up to be honest. They put him up on that stage knowing he could and probably would make a fool of himself so they could float replacing him.

Within 24 hours of the debate, several websites had already published lists of possible replacements.

Popular names included California governor Gavin Newsom, Michelle Obama, and good old Hillary Clinton.

There’s probably a lot of backroom negotiating over who gets to replace him right now, if that wasn’t decided months ago.

So as you may already surmise the agenda is bigger than some senile old man mumbling his way through a debate -- we have something bigger coming.

Remember the same people who are saying he is washed up are the same people that have been covering for him and sticking up for him and his son Hunter for the last 3.5 years.

The whole election theft structure which was used in 2020 is still in place and has been reinforced with the treatment of the “insurrectionists”.

Which may also backfire.

But even the most gullible and distracted citizen would doubt another win by Biden. It’s just impossible to believe that record numbers (that’s what it’s going to take) of people would choose a dementia case as the symbolic head of their nation.

How strange that the same people believe that if Trump is elected he will destroy democracy? Democracy has already been destroyed, it has been destroyed with the current administration -- and this hasn't yet been realized I guess, but maybe it will.

If anyone argues, “We just can’t have a president who has broken the law!” they are naïve beyond reason. What about, “We just can’t have a president that can’t form an intelligible sentence.”

One who answers to others was not elected by the people to run this country.

When faced with the possible return of former President Donald Trump, the current agenda of the Democratic Party is summed up simply as “We had to destroy democracy to save it.”

The effort shares a common theme: Any means necessary are justified to prevent the people from choosing their own president, given the fear that a majority might vote to elect President Trump.

Sometimes, the anti-democratic paranoia has been outsourced to state and local officials and prosecutors to erase President Trump from the primary and, likely, general election ballots as well.

Take the recent “defeat” of the WHO’s blatant move to take over the world with their insane Pandemic Treaty. The poison they spewed out with that obvious attempt was apparently a bit too strong. Too many people caught on that it wasn’t such a bright idea to do what they were trying to do.

But that won‘t stop the World Health Organization from trying again-- it will somehow fly under the radar.

We must be very careful to keep our eye on the sparrow—to see through simple seemingly placating events that have the intention of making us relax and shift our gaze.

This is difficult, because some things that happen are indeed legitimate and can be seen as feathers in our caps.

We must continue to scrutinize everything, and be willing to see that our guard must not be let down no matter how weary we become.

They find some other way to gaslight us -- for their new agenda.

We have lingered too long in this strange twilight zone where ego trumps justice, propaganda perverts truth, and imperial presidents—empowered to indulge their authoritarian tendencies by legalistic courts, corrupt legislatures, and a disinterested, distracted populace—rule by fiat rather than by the rule of law.

That’s no surprise: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Where we find ourselves now is in the unenviable position of needing to rein in all three branches of government—the Executive, the Judicial, and the Legislative—that have exceeded their authority and grown drunk on power.

We need to stop treating them like Rock Stars and football players,

They are not Kings or Queens.

We are not their subjects -- they work for us-- think about that when you cast your vote for the prettier of the two -- or in this case the one who can stand and form sentences.

This is exactly the kind of concentrated, absolute power the founders attempted to guard against by establishing a system of checks of balances that separate and share power between three co-equal branches: the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary.

Unadulterated power in any branch of government is a menace to freedom. There’s no point debating which political party would be more dangerous with these powers.

The fact that any individual—or branch of government—of any political persuasion is empowered to act like a dictator is dangerous enough.

It is bad enough that every four years we fall for this nonsense.

That's show business.

We are the unwitting victims of a system so corrupt that those who stand up for the rule of law and aspire to transparency in government are in the minority.

But make no mistake: Americans only think they’re choosing the next president. There are plenty of people behind the scenes who are running the show-- none of which are held accountable for their treachery.

In truth, however, they’re engaging in the illusion of participation culminating in the reassurance ritual of voting. It’s just another Blue Pill, a manufactured reality conjured up by the matrix to keep the populace compliant and convinced that their vote counts and that they still have some influence over the political process.

The nation is drowning in debt, crippled by a slowing economy, overrun by militarized police, swarming with surveillance, besieged by endless wars and a military-industrial complex intent on starting new ones, and riddled with corrupt politicians at every level of government.

All the while, we’re arguing over which corporate puppet will be given the honor of stealing our money, invading our privacy, abusing our trust, undermining our freedoms, and shackling us with debt and misery for years to come.

The choice we have for president , as it has been reported in the media so far, is for a person weak of mind insisting that he is safer for the US and the world while “knowing how to tell the truth.

The other we are told remains estranged from the truth, guilty of 34 felony counts for falsifying business accounts, and can destroy democracy.

I guess it is a bit late at this point to declare democracy dead –and that there is no chance of fair elections as far as we remember them.
