MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
I was a little incensed by his post because I thought that I am not intending for people to lose hope, I was intending for people to consider some very chilling and awful truths.
I have been saying from the beginning and have been quite consistent in pointing out that what is happening goes beyond our center of the universe politics; this is a world upheaval and one that is sparking a sense of historical Déjà vu.
We have seen the Deep State or the shadow influence disrupt government before and the Trump administration is not immune to the bad actors that are forcing him to make decisions he would prefer to not make.
To his credit and to the credit of his loyalists, he has made an effort to keep the globalists from destroying American sovereignty and in the face of all of the derision he remains standing.
Those who hate him should also acknowledge that and those who support him needs to realize that everyone has their limits and the Deep State has been busy, as we have witnessed during Trump’s tenure as president.
The Deep State seeks to frustrate positive change for the people, so as to preserve their own power, and that of the establishment in general. In contrast to overtly authoritarian rule, Deep States must operate more or less secretly, like terrorist groups, so preserving secrecy is a high priority. Control of the commercially-controlled media is essential to the effective preservation of secrecy need for the deep state to work effectively. In the U.S., this is affected through deep state control of the CIA. With the apparatus of nation states under their control, their subterfuges can be elaborate and complex. The Deep States of the world have a natural common interest in hiding their existence, which predisposes them to mutual assistance.
It is quite obvious the Deep State has declared war on those who wish to oppose the establishment order that is progressing to a world government. It can be argues that Trump has fought the good fight and the people have stood by not quite understanding that scorched earth policy is underway and there are no prisoners taken and no accountability for its collateral damage.
Trump’s detractors have stated that the Deep State is all in the president’s imagination and yet Kennedy was a victim of the Deep State and there was one other president that had his taste of the deep state and resigned.
Richard Nixon resigned 46 years ago on August 9th, 1974.
While Nixon effectively admitted to David Frost that he obstructed justice in a Watergate cover-up, the academic scholarship published since 1977 has documented in exhaustive detail how the critical wings of the Nixon White House, the National Security Council, the covert operations unit dubbed “the Plumbers,” and Nixon’s campaign arm, the Committee for the Re-Election of the President, were all infiltrated by rival power centers in the capital and exploited for intelligence. The people burrowing in came from the military, the intelligence community, and the news media.
If you want some rhyming history take a look at the presidential contest of Nov. 7, 1972. The incumbent, Richard Nixon, appearing on the national ticket for the fifth time, a feat equaled only by Franklin Roosevelt, won reelection with a 49-state landslide.
There are many that believe Trump will do the same this November but it may not be as easy as one might think especially in times of what Trump calls rich enemies that want to take him down.
Remember less than two years later Nixon was forced to resign and was spared criminal prosecution only by Proclamation 4311 issued by successor Gerald R. Ford, that document pardoned Nixon for all crimes he “committed or may have committed” in the White House.
Sen. Howard Baker, R-Tenn., the ranking Republican on the Senate Watergate committee and later President Ronald Reagan’s chief of staff, never spoke explicitly of a Deep State. But he alluded to it once, in suitably cryptic terms. Reeling from his discovery that the Pentagon had spied on Nixon, and struggling to grasp the large role of the Central Intelligence Agency in Watergate, Baker said: “There are elephants crashing around in the forest.”
The same thing can be said of Obama gate but at the moment the faithful are hoping that Trump makes his move and that the indictments stick. There is a race against the deep state and the swamp is thicker and deeper than one can fathom.
The notion that presidents can find themselves isolated, not only from the public and the press, but from large and important segments of their own bureaucracies, including the Pentagon and the intelligence community, remained a concern long after the Nixon era.
It is also a major concern now for those who are students of history. This is not some political agenda – this is classic conspiracy theory – that when examined layer by layer has many kernels of truth.
I have always loved a good Cold War conspiracy and at this time in our history, it feels a little chilly all over again.
Which leads us back to those cryptic statements given by the President at the Whirlpool plant in Clyde, Ohio.
Something beyond his statements seemed off of course but not as odd as what happened before he made them.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced Thursday afternoon that he had tested positive for coronavirus, but said that he had tested negative for COVID-19 later on in the evening.
Dewine is a republican but there has been some controversy has he has split from President Trump over his policies on the treatment of COVID-19.
The initial announcement of Dewine testing positive came shortly before DeWine, , was scheduled to meet with President Donald Trump in Cleveland.
DeWine was tested as part of the undefinedstandard protocolundefined to greet Trump on the tarmac at Burke Lakefront Airport, the governorundefineds office said in a statement. He returned to Columbus, where he and his wife Fran were both to be tested.
He then was tested after Trump left and it was found that he was negative.
Mr. DeWine’s decisiveness — closing schools before any governor in the country, postponing the state’s March 17 primary election to protect voters and other policies have put into question his party loyalty to President Trump.
Many people feel that it was quite convenient that DeWine was unavailable to face Trump.
Meanwhile, there was a curious photo that was released on twitter that gave a window view from the Presidentundefineds helicopter that showed his entire staff standing outside the White House to watch him leave – it was that photograph the reminded me of the images I remember as a kid when Nixon left the White House.
He then made his cryptic statement at the Whirlpool factory.
In his speech he said:
“So I have a lot of enemies out there this may be the last time you will see me for a while.” The then went on to say: “Lot of very very rich enemies, but they are not happy with what I am doing, but I figure we have one chance to do it, and no other President is going to do what I do.”
Today, it was reported that President Trump left the White House last night to start a three-day vacation at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club, according to a tweet by Associated Press reporter Jonathan Lemire. His getaway was schedule while negotiations over the new coronavirus relief bill remain stalled, with both Democrats and Republicans still battling over the recently-expired $600 unemployment benefit and other key issues.
The President arrived at his family-owned club hours after he tweeted that he was prepared to use executive action if talks over the COVID-19 relief package did not progress.
“Upon departing the Oval Office for Ohio, I’ve notified my staff to continue working on an Executive Order with respect to Payroll Tax Cut, Eviction Protections, Unemployment Extensions, and Student Loan Repayment Options,” he tweeted.
POLITICO also conjured the ghost of Lyndon Johnson when in 1968 the nationally televised Oval Office address from Johnson was to announce new peace initiatives in Vietnam. Johnson saved the most startling news until the end of his speech.
With the country so badly divided over a grinding war, Johnson didn’t believe as president he “should devote an hour or a day of my time to any personal partisan causes.” He was dropping out of the presidential campaign.
Now, I know that many of you will say that this is a stretch but I believe on the eve of the 46 anniversary of Nixon’s resignation it is worth examining the reasons he could leave , as a way of illuminating the bleakness of his situation with just over three months to go before the general election.
I know that his loyal followers would savor a win in November Under the current trajectory, that looks less likely than not; by the light of some evidence it looks highly unlikely. But again the man has an uncanny way of bouncing back.
However it is hard when you are making enemies in your own party –and for nebulous reasons The failure of the fourth estate and the controls that are now in place have been crucial in creating a warped climate of politically motivated violence, politically correct speech, political dismissive talking points, political fanaticism, manufactured racial tension for political gain, pseudo-science for feared lack of global resources, and fear.
We are asked to accept that we must be disarmed, that we must be spied upon, and we must pretend as though we are not aware the Deep State continues to propagate huge lies in order to keep their stranglehold on the public opinion.
These cunning processes create a large number of people that wish to pressure others into believing the whims of the Deep State and create a coercive solution where people wish to suspend their individuality for the collective thoughts and agendas provided by an established secret government that wishes to pave the way for an allegiance to the New World Order.
Which is very confounding.
The fabric of American society just does not seem to be as strong as it used to be. In fact, many would argue that society is coming apart at the seams. Corruption and decay seem to be everywhere. The media tends to push the agenda that this decline is because America chose Donald Trump as President. It is not at all an apologists view that this is absolutely not the reason — it is a realistic view to say that what is happening has been a slow burn of injustice and impunity that has been happening since the end of World War II.
Saying that the decline or even the fall of the United States is not attributed to our current President should not be misconstrued as a defense of his actions, or the enabling of his destructive character. It is also naïve to ignore what is happening because of political bias in favor of the illusion that the swamp will be drained and that all of our pain will be tranquilized because of the decision of one election.
The reactions to declaring America broken creates a number of responses that tend to negate the complexity of what has destabilized the republic in the first place. The truth is we are now facing the consequences of bad decisions, bad government, and a war within the intelligence apparatus of this country.
America is living through stressful times. According to the American Psychological Association, a majority of people from each generation would agree that the country is at a low point looking back on their lifetime experience.
This even applies to the generation of the over 72-year olds who witnessed such devastating events as the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor and the ensuing Second World War. Of all generations, it’s the X’ers who are most pessimistic about this time and age.
Now I want to stress that this is an opinion of generations and those who judge the country based on their lifetime experience.
This has nothing to do with Presidential choice or lack of insight as to how the political beast operates.
This is an indication of limited perspective and a collective memory based on immediate recall – it does not measure up to the reality of why we continue to spiral into an abyss that is subservient to a manipulative oligarchy and out of control intelligence operation within our government that has been subverted for more than 75 years.
Trump knows also that perceptions of power and success have an intimidating effect. As he looks to the fall, it is not opponents whom he needs to keep in line. It is allies.
You remember back when Johnson lost the support of Cronkite with regard t the war he knew that he could not seek the nomination of his party.
Johnsonundefinedreportedly declared, “IfundefinedIundefinedveundefinedlost Cronkite,undefinedIundefinedveundefinedlostundefinedmiddle America.
Some argue that Trump has lost the support of Fox News – and the Drudge Report also has turned on the President.
But of course, this does not mean the President give up however some claim that if Trump ditched the nomination or quit, he would become more powerful a commentator –giving his loyal support to the new nominee and becoming even more powerful than Rush Limbaugh.
That is in another timeline or perhaps a timeline that will align with the idea that if there is a move to reset the world – we would need someone like Trump to remind us of how we need to hold on to our sovereignty for dear life. Would he be more effective as a political commentator rather than a president?
Long-term, forgoing the race with a measure of self-awareness conceivably could elevate Trump’s historical reputation higher than it would be if he loses reelection, he would still be a hero and remembered as a warrior who fought the good fight – but has decided to do it in a more effective way.
However, this is arguable and I know that a lot of people would love to see him be president forever and then there are many people who are completely horrified with the idea.
But with circumstances as grim as they are right now, it would be surprising but not inconceivable if Trump decidedundefinedhave a séance and contact LBJ or conjure the ghost of Nixon.
Perhaps history would be a good indicator of what he is up against.
