Recent medical reports indicate that Aspartame is a carcinogen. This means those who use it for diets may be doomed to cancer. Science never appears to be settled and the virtue signaling can stop now because we are all going to die, sooner or later. There are other things scientists are noticing and that is we are becoming increasingly deficient in the neurotransmitter, dopamine. Studies have linked increased computer and digital technology use with a sedentary lifestyle and obesity, thus, having a negative effect on our brain chemistry. Could this be a reason why more people are depressed and angry with one another? Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with integrative medical practitioner, Dr. Jason West about BRAIN SALAD SANDWICH - I CANundefinedT GET NO SATISFACTION.

SHOW TRANSCRIPT:
Einstein warned us that crisis is the pretext for extinction. Every crisis that we try to overanalyze, every traumatic event that we develop new theories for is tantalizing mental masturbation, but it does nothing to help us overcome and get beyond our collective victimhood.
We can manufacture all sorts of “what ifs,” but we may want to watch the “what now’s” that indicates, the only hope we have now is to grow in knowledge and shatter the well-organized lies that seem to cloud our development.
The new normal includes a new bizarre human experience where we seem to be fighting against toxicity, physically, mentally and spiritually.
The intimidation tactics are becoming evident and the specter of voluntary extinction looms heavy as we begin to realize that we are living in a geoengineered pre-transhuman world.
The new evolutionary process is being prepared as we speak and many people are ready to convert.
The question is, “How far will you go?”
Are we all willing to negate reality undefined for hyper-reality?
This question is more aimed at the younger generations but the older generations should look for the signs of a slow conversion of the young into becoming glued to their machines, and unwilling to do relaxing things like fishing, reading a book, or maybe even playing cards or a board game.
Anti-spiritual forces are precursors to anti-life actions and many see Transhumanism as the bridge to extinction like a thousand paper cuts as we are beguiled to trade our bodies for avatars and our souls for bytes in a technological Eden.
Imagine a future time when the internet is a quantum internet and much of our technology uses quantum-based processors. As strange as it may sound, the processing will not be taking place within the physical hardware but, rather, the physical hardware will create a condition where the processors can access and utilize the parallel, non-physical dimension of our reality matrix.
What is being projected is a future with interchangeable hyper-reality- far more exciting and satisfying than the reality we are living in now.
Transhumanism thus represents more than a technological ambition to merge with AI – it’s a means of suppressing or severing the latent spiritual connection present in each individual and replacing it with a materialist will; it’s an alchemical transformation of consciousness itself.
All is programming and grooming for the initiation into the new normal.
It will be so overwhelming it will be any wonder that the brain will not explode or will have to be required to link up to an intelligence grid in order to have enough backup to endure the overstimulation.
We are moving and being pushed into a world where human-to-human contact is being replaced with interaction through technology. Has the widespread use of the internet and binary technology over the past years had a detrimental effect on the finer non-physical bodies of human beings? If so, how would that damage and future damage manifest?
It is becoming more than apparent that al of us seem to be living in an episode of Black Mirror. Of course, for those who donundefinedt know, Black Mirror has become a TV program that would be seen as the modern equivalent of the Twilight Zone undefined but seems to be focused on what technology is doing to us and how it can create a sense of alienation, depression and a sense of anxiety.
In almost every episode we see that there are many mental obstacles and adjustments that have to come with the incursion of technology undefined some are obvious, while others show us a darker side, one that results in terror and a sense of entrapment.
Transhuman attitudes have infiltrated the zeitgeist, and we begin to see people change in ways that are most unbecoming.
Technocrats seem to be telling us that It isn’t any longer about the “meaning of life”. Who cares about that when you can beat death? Living longer means you will be more likely to understand the meaning of life further down the road, at least that is the lie we are being told.
As we age we are still not aware of the meaning of life, but we begin to see history rhyming -and we realize that the same grifts are back, demanding that we listen and pay a great deal of money to be told things we already know.
The elite have devoted their lives to looking younger, acting younger, changing your face, having it pulled up and tucked in until you look more like a clay mummy, replacing your internal organs, injecting yourself with umbilical cord blood used in transplanting stem cells to trigger natural healing and regeneration, becoming part machine, uploading your mind to the cloud, floating free without any bodily restraints.
Yes we do all this without even thinking that it may be causing some sort of internal backlash undefined or some mental decay as we fall clandestinely away from being human and looking and acting more like a thrift store mannequin.
In trying to cheat death, we have forgotten what it means to live.
We seem to not care that we are being experimented upon. The brightest minds are more than happy to experiment on the masses in exchange for money and a better situation in society.
This is why during COVID-19 the struggle was only for the 99 percent while the one percent took in billions of dollars capitalizing on your fear of death.
It was a circus they created, and the people bought their tickets and some even cashed in as the clowns promised you an amusement park but it turned out to be a slaughterhouse.
The secret to life isn’t in remaking your physical body. It isn’t in indulging the pleasures of the flesh and then snipping your genes, so you don’t get fat or contract a sexual disease.
it isnundefinedt running to the pharmacy to get injected for COVID-19, Shingles or the flu.
I know we all want to see another sunrise but the technocrats want you to live like vampires, hiding in the shadows and feeling isolated.
Sure Athletes and celebrities are dying unexpectedly but you keep telling yourself it is all just a conspiracy theory, that side effects from most of these life-saving drugs are dangerous.
Now we learn that Aspartame is going to be listed as a carcinogen. This means that those who use it for diets may be doomed to cancer.
Aspartame is used in common drinks and foods from Diet Coke to sugarless chewing gum to Dannon Activia yogurt. It’s also used in cough drops and some toothpaste. The WHO label on Aspartame indicates there is limited evidence linking aspartame to cancer. It is the lowest of three categories, with “probable carcinogen” such as the herbicide glyphosate and “carcinogenic to humans” like tobacco.
But the science was settled undefined science said it was okay to use, just like doctors used to recommend smoking for a sore throat back in the 1950s.
I hope all of the supporters of undefinedscienceundefined are seeing this and learning that there is no settled science. Never for Covid Never for Climate Change.
The virtue signaling can stop now because you are going to die whether you like it or not undefined and science is not some noun you can throw around so that you can be a critical parent of others that you think are political misfits.
Science changes and with new research opinions change, and new discoveries are worth noting but there have been conspiracy theorists for some time warning people about artificial sweeteners and the harm they can cause.
Aspartame is one of the most thoroughly researched ingredients in history, with over 90 food safety agencies across the globe declaring it is safe. This sounds familiar, right?
Just like the unknown majority of scientists that believe in Global Warming.
According to the new report -the consumption of aspartame, unlike dietary protein, can elevate the levels of phenylalanine and aspartic acid in the brain. These compounds can inhibit the synthesis and release of neurotransmitters, dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin, which are known regulators of neurophysiological activity.
But there are many other things that scientists are noticing about our brains undefined we are all seeking dopamine. The neurotransmitter dopamine is eliciting a lot of panic these days.
According to books, articles and social media posts, our urge for a quick dopamine hit is why we crave cookies and spend too much time on Instagram. If we keep giving in to these desires, the rationale goes, we’ll never be able to stop ourselves.
A self-improvement trend often called “dopamine fasting” that emerged in 2019 revolves around abstaining from anything that causes the release of the chemical. The premise is that modern-day entertainments rewire the brain so that slower-paced pastimes are no longer pleasurable.
Parents are even advised to prevent children from experiencing spikes in dopamine meaning not to let them play video games or eat junk food lest the insatiable need for the neurotransmitter increase bad behavior.
Before you swear off dopamine — and the prospect of any joy in life — it’s important to understand the biggest misconceptions about the neurotransmitter and what the research shows.
The idea that dopamine produces feelings of pleasure came from early experiments in rodents, and later humans, who found the dopamine system was activated when animals encountered a reward. Food, sex, drugs, and social interactions all set off releases of dopamine in the brain, suggesting the neurochemical is linked to any feel-good outcome.
But upon further study in the 1990s, scientists realized that dopamine is more closely related to the anticipation of a reward than to its receipt. Dopamine causes the wanting of something and the motivation to go and get it, not the enjoyment of it.
Chasing the dopamine squirt is just as rewarding as finally finding it undefined the anticipation of the reward is was keeps us trained like good dogs.
A neurochemical that controls desire can sound sinister, but pursuing rewards is not inherently a problem; it all depends on the context. Animals from honeybees to humans developed dopamine systems to motivate them to seek out food and sex in order to survive and procreate.
But normal things that used to create dopamine pleasure are no longer good enough.
Pings, alerts, rings, and notifications can shift our focus in a way that can lead to long-lasting difficulties with paying attention. Difficulties paying attention can lead to poorer performance on academic, personal, and professional tasks. In fact, researchers from France and the United Kingdom found that frequent media multitasking may contribute to diminished gray matter in the anterior cingulate cortex, an area of the brain where attentional control resides.
Dopamine is the neurotransmitter released in response to pleasure or excitement. When we take in near-constant technological inputs of text messages, YouTube videos, pictures, or video games, our brainundefineds pleasure centers (ventral tegmental area, nucleus accumbens, and basal ganglia) can become hyper-stimulated by dopamine. This overstimulation can make our brainundefineds pleasure centers less responsive to other enjoyable experiences, such as eating a meal, reading a book, having a conversation, or holding hands.
The allure of digital gadgets can keep us preoccupied indoors causing us to miss out on physical activity and outdoor experiences. Caring for our bodies requires regular physical activity that strengthens our muscles and cardiovascular system. Studies have linked increased computer and technology use with a sedentary lifestyle and obesity.
A team of fluid physicists from the University of Sydney in Australia and Fudan University in China discovered brain signals rippling across the brainundefineds outermost layer of neural tissue, the cerebral cortex, on scans of 100 young adultsundefined brains.
Signals naturally arranged as spirals, like vortices in a draining bathtub or whirlwinds of turbulent air.
Like a Brain Hurricane.
The cortex is the wrinkled outer layer of neuron-dense tissue that folds into the two hemispheres of our brain, responsible for computing complex cognitive functions such as language and storing memories.
Neuroscientists have mostly focused on mapping brain activity from the bottom up to understand the inner workings of regions like the cortex: imaging cells to determine how they communicate as networks that give rise to their function.
In an exciting twist, the team analyzed brain imaging data collected as part of the Human Connectome Project using methods most familiar to fluid physicists studying complex wave patterns in turbulent flows.
Brain specialists in the field report that these spiral patterns exhibit intricate and complex dynamics, moving across the brainundefineds surface while rotating around central points known as phase singularities.
Functional MRI scans produce imaging data that shows when and where the brain undefinedlights upundefined in a burst of activity, flooded with oxygenated blood. The spiraling patterns identified in the data resemble kaleidoscopic waves or, when simplified into directional vortices, circular pressure lines on a weather map.
Much like vortices act in turbulence, the spirals engage in intricate interactions, playing a crucial role in organizing the brainundefineds complex activities.
These traveling waves are intriguing enough on a cellular level, especially when you consider how turbulent vortices have also been observed elsewhere in the body and nature: in suspensions of swimming bacteria, biochemical signaling of the heart and in the membranes of living cells.
But how whirlpool-like waves may materialize across the cerebral cortex as a whole hadnundefinedt been explored until now, leaving a gap in understanding how brain functions in each of the regions could be connected.
The spiral waves appeared to span multiple networks of interconnected cells and were situated at precise anatomical locations, suggesting they may play some role in coordinating brain activity.
At those locations, the researchers think the rotating spirals may act as a gate, letting brain activity flow through to another region when the spins are opposing, or as a wall, blocking it off when they spin the same direction.
It is like watching a satellite feed of typhoons and hurricanes swirling in the brain.
Could this be an indication of how we are evolving into wanting a more hyperreal existence as reality no longer is satisfying?
Because of dopamine’s role in motivation and learning, the worry is that highly stimulating activities will hijack the neurotransmitter system, such that it no longer works for smaller, everyday rewards. For someone hooked on video games, the thinking goes, Monopoly might be less rewarding.
This concern is partly based on science. Prolonged use of drugs that cause huge surges in dopamine, like cocaine and amphetamine, can cause the brain to shut off some of the receptors that the neurochemical acts on. This so-called tolerance means that more of the drug is required to achieve the same high.
Some rewarding behaviors can cause problems in people’s lives. Although activities like gambling, watching pornography and playing video games don’t stimulate as much dopamine release as drugs do, they can lead to patterns of behavior similar to those seen in substance use disorder — namely, continuing the activity despite severe negative consequences.
Because video games and pornography can be habit-forming, some researchers have hypothesized that they might cause similar signs of tolerance in the brain.
But keep in mind that. Roughly 2 to 3 percent of people who watch pornography report being addicted to the behavior. Similarly, 2 to 3 percent of people who play online games qualify as having internet gaming disorder.
But remember that is only based on those who admit they have a problem undefined I am sure there are many individuals that stay in their rooms watching porn and playing video games for the dopamine squirt.
And while dopamine is involved in addiction, compulsions to use drugs or masturbate are more complicated than a single neurotransmitter.
In fact, experimental attempts to treat addiction by altering dopamine activity in the brain haven’t worked. These types of compulsive behaviors are also often accompanied by other mental illnesses or extreme stress during childhood.
Taking a break from video games or social media can be a good idea if you want to spend more time on other pursuits. But will those pursuits satisfy you?
