SHOW TRANSCRIPT:
Some say we are in the greatest danger of nuclear war since the Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962 but history shows us that cooler head prevailed and Kennedy was not one to say stupid things about policy and that we are committed to first strike and blah blah -which makes things more dangerous today.
Long before President Biden was elected the reality of nuclear annihilation has receded into unconsciousness. You would be hard-pressed to talk to a kid today about fallout shelters. Connelrad civil defense tests and Bert the Turtle urged everyone to duck and cover.
I am sure many of the youth of today are aware of the nuclear possibilities because of video games like Fallout. but it is all a ghost of a bygone era or nuclear tests of the 1950s.
Many of them are not so keen on watching the nightly news and trying to ascertain the true meaning of the words that are being expressed by U.S. generals and the U.S. Ukrainian puppet Zelensky about nuclear weapons and their use that have extremely inflamed Russia’s fears, which clearly is intentional.
The game is to have some officials say it and then deny it while having a policy that contradicts your denial. This is what bothers me undefined statements and threats are made and then walked back undefined it is like a fight in playground undefined it begins with taunting then the staring contest then the shoving and eventually the take down.
Keep pushing the envelope is U.S. policy but now the prospect is getting old and people are tiring of this war -as they are paying the highest prices for food , and gasoline and babies going without formula.
I guess the ultimate sacrifice would be a part of the nation being wiped out with a nuclear war head from either Russia or China.
In order to grasp this stomach-churning possibility within the context of Ukraine, Russia and China we need to put aside all talk of morality, rights, international law, and think in terms of great power politics -and how a man in mental decline is holding the reigns to our future- a man whose off the cuff remarks are angering those who have to power to issue an order to send their missiles our way giving us a fiery funeral.
When a great power feels its existence is threatened, might makes right. You simply can’t understand world politics without thinking at this level. Doing so does not mean justifying the use of might; it is a means of clarifying the causes of wars, which start long before the first shots are fired.
From the beginning of Russia’s war in Ukraine, President Biden and the White House have taken great care to say that U.S. military action is off the table. They’ve said so more firmly, in fact, than presidents usually do. The media has been so thoughtful in making the war engenders sympathy in the people. It is like a nonstop PBS documentary where they continue to drive home every night that people are dying there.
It is also similar to those Public Service commercials where the bearded man comes on TV to show us poor Ethiopian children with bugs an snotty on their faces urging us to contribute 50 cents a day so that they can have a bowl creamed oats and bugs.
I donundefinedt know how many times the media can come up with a story to tell. This while affair with Ukraine has gone long enough undefined it is no longer a matter of why the war happened undefined it is about why it should continue.
His infernal Majesty Henry Kissinger spoke at Davos and said that the West to stop trying to inflict a crushing defeat on Russian forces in Ukraine, warning that it would have disastrous consequences for the long term stability of Europe.
He continued that it would be fatal for the West to get swept up in the mood of the moment and forget the proper place of Russia in the European balance of power.
Dr. Kissinger said the war must not be allowed to drag on for much longer, and came close to calling on the West to bully Ukraine into accepting negotiations on terms that fall very far short of its current war aims.
He told the World Economic Forum that Russia had been an essential part of Europe for 400 years and had been the guarantor of the European balance of power structure at critical times. European leaders should not lose sight of the longer-term relationship, and nor should they risk pushing Russia into a permanent alliance with China.
The comments came amid growing signs that the Western coalition against Vladimir Putin is fraying badly as the food and energy crisis deepens, and that sanctions may have reached their limits.
It is so odd that a known war criminal undefined much like an elder Godfather has to tell the other mob bosses to leave Russia alone -it just furthers the argument that this whole situation is being instigated by madmen-and that they hold meetings to discuss who lives and dies -and who divides the spoils of war
I donundefinedt care if you voted for Joe Biden or if you think he is the greatest President that ever lived- he is a demented soul who is easily being puppeted undefined and sometime he goes off script and we realize just how much of a Lunatic he truly is.
Be not deceived Biden thinks he is a king, a foreign policy genius and a great war strategist. He is the king of nothing.
.Earlier this week in Tokyo, Joe Biden said that the US would involve itself directly in the defense of Taiwan in the event of a Chinese attack. This is the third time since taking office that he has said or suggested that the US has a security commitment to defend Taiwan when it does not, and each time the White House staff had to do damage control and walk back his remarks.
They had to clarify that Biden was not endorsing so-called undefinedstrategic clarity.undefined The official line is that Biden was only restating existing policy that the US would provide military assistance to Taiwan. This is not what he said, and it was not how his words were interpreted. It is increasingly difficult to credit the White House’s claim that there has been no change in policy when the president habitually declares that the US undefinedmadeundefined a commitment to defend Taiwan.
The exchange went as follows :
“Very quickly, you didn’t want to get involved in the Ukraine conflict militarily for obvious reasons. Are you willing to get involved militarily to defend Taiwan if it comes to that?” a reporter asked the president during a news conference in Japan.
“Yes,” Biden replied.
“You are?” the reporter pressed.
“That’s the commitment we made,” the president said.
As he made those remarks, Biden seemed dazed and confused, as if he was in some sort of a mental fog at the time.
Could it have been just another case of bumbling poor judgment, the mind softened as the mouth opened?
Biden was again flatly committing the US to a conflict over Taiwan should China deploy its forces. He has done so on two previous occasions, showing either a degree of ignorance, or a willingness to throw caution to the wind. The first took place during an interview with ABC News in August, when he equated Taiwan’s status to those of other allies such as South Korea. The second, in a CNN town hall, took place in October, when he stated that the US had “a commitment to do that”.
Either the president doesn’t understand long-standing US policy, or he is incapable of correctly articulating it in public, or he is changing it on the fly without any serious consideration of the dangers that such a commitment involves. None of the alternatives is reassuring. Regardless, Biden has managed to further strain US-Chinese relations with his provocative remarks, and he has provided fodder for hardliners in Washington that have been agitating for years for an explicit commitment to go to war over Taiwan.
China hawks were predictably thrilled with Biden’s statement, and some declared the end to strategic ambiguity. Even if Biden didn’t mean what he said, he has made the same unforced error too many times for it to be discounted as nothing more than undefinedmisspeaking.undefined
His off the cuff comments about Russia and taking out Vladimir Putin have also been troublesome as the Kremlin had to be calmed over his ramblings -and even said that his words could trigger a nuclear response.
Say what you will about Former President Trump’s mean and insensitive tweets undefined his words or his rambling never put is closer to World war III.
It appears though that this is what the great President of equality and love wants -an eventual simultaneous war with China and Russia.
While Biden doesn’t seem to have thought through the implications of what he keeps saying, his public commitment has made war with China more likely rather than less.
Biden has arbitrarily extended a security commitment that would involve the US in its biggest war since WWII if it were ever triggered, and he has done it over something that matters far more to China than it does to the United States. It should go without saying that the has no authority to decide by himself whether the US goes to war, but that is effectively what Biden is doing when he invents a commitment out of thin air. A commitment of that magnitude is something that should be entered into only with the explicit support of the American people and their representatives, and then only when it is necessary to protect vital US interests. No vital US interests are at stake in Taiwan, and Biden is wrong if he thinks there are any.
Biden’s sloppiness with respect to Taiwan stands in sharp contrast to his correct opposition thus far to intervening directly in Ukraine. In both cases, the US has no formal security commitments to defend them if they are attacked, but on Taiwan Biden keeps referring to a commitment that the US undefinedmadeundefined as if they were still a treaty ally.
While Biden has rightly been wary of escalation in Ukraine because it could lead to nuclear war, the similar danger of escalation in Taiwan leading to a nuclear exchange does not seem to weigh as heavily on him.
It needs to be said undefined something is not right with Joe Biden and his remarks and ideas that he pulls out of thin air are worrying those in Washington DC. They should worry the American people.
Joe Biden has been a blow hard undefined hot head throughout his career in politics, but now he is a Blow hard hothead that is in an advanced state of mental decline
As often tends to come to pass, when the potential for war lurks in everywhere , there are those less than unwilling to repel it. The chance to exercise muscle, especially indulged vicariously, brings out the inner war monger. undefined Biden is not some sweet soul that was the alternative to a bad orange man undefined Biden is an olde covetous, man who is told to keep his anger and use of four letter words in check because remember it is a Big undefinedFundefineding deal.
Biden and his team just keep making one colossal mistake after another, and now we are on a path that could soon have us fighting major wars with both China and Russia at the same time.
If there was ever a time to invoke the 25th Amendment, it is now. If we start shooting at the Chinese and the Russians, the unthinkable will actually become reality. There will be no “do overs”, and there will be no going back to the way that life was before.
Immediately after Biden’s press conference in Tokyo , administration officials attempted to walk back his remarks. They said that he had “misspoke” and that there had been no change in policy.
But the damage had already been done, and the Chinese were furious. In fact, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry responded by stating that “there is no room for compromise” when it comes to Taiwan…
China has always considered Taiwan to be Chinese territory, and in recent weeks there have been all sorts of rumblings that the Chinese are getting ready to invade.
And once China invades, the U.S. and China will immediately be in a state of war.
That again is not all that reassuring and those warning we got about Trump pushing us into World War III were some of the biggest lies ever told by the far left -and none of them are going to cop to the idea that they voted in or simply appointed a senile dictator to say off color remarks that could launch battles that we cannot afford to fight.
His cognitive decline has led many to question whether he is even capable of running the country undefined let alone be a fit commander during a war that he continues to instigate.
The American people are faced with enduring a destructive administration and no one in the media has the wherewithal to call it out -and definitely examine how these blunders are dangerous in a powder keg era.
The dangers of fighting a war with a nuclear-armed major power are far greater than in any of the conflicts of the previous seventy years. I donundefinedt think that the government or the public is prepared for what it would look like or the economic dislocation that would come with it. Even if such a war could be kept undefinedlimitedundefined and nuclear weapons were not used, the US might still take losses greater than it suffered in the entire Vietnam War. If it became a nuclear war, the death toll would be staggering and the damage to both countries would be incalculable.
The US already has far too many security commitments around the world, and it doesn’t need the president to start inventing new ones. The United States is not obliged to go to war over Taiwan, and it is wrong and dangerous for the president to suggest otherwise.
Meanwhile -another event has happened that certainly is pushing us closer to a possible bigger conflict in Ukraine.
On Sunday, we learned that the U.S. is actually considering sending troops into Ukraine to guard the U.S. embassy in Kiev
The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that officials are mulling plans to send special forces to Kyiv to guard the U.S. Embassy. The effort is a delicate one, as it requires balancing the safety of American diplomats while avoiding what Russia could see as an escalation.
That is not a good idea, but rational people are not running our foreign policy at this point.
If rational people were making these decisions in Washington, we would not have already committed 54 billion dollars to this conflict. That is an amount that is nine times larger than what Ukraine normally spends on their entire military for an entire year.
In the war in Ukraine, it is the U.S. that is spending most of the money, it is the U.S. that is providing most of the equipment, it is the U.S. that is providing most of the intelligence, and U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has admitted that we are even flying members of the Ukrainian military into the United States to train them.
This has already become a full-blown proxy war between the United States and Russia, and we are dangerously close to it becoming an actual shooting war between our two nations.
And that is a scenario that we should be trying to avoid at all costs.
This week is is also being reported that Vladimir Putin “survived an assassination attempt” shortly after the war in Ukraine began…details are sketchy which makes us wonder if it is propaganda along with the reports of Putin getting cancer surgery.
But there is More to the warmongers and hawks preparing their apocalyptic war,
The Biden White House has now given the greenlight for unprecedented U.S. participation in an Israeli drill simulating a massive attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
According to The Times of Israel, “The U.S. Air Force will serve as a complementary force, with refueling planes drilling with Israeli fighter jets as they simulate entering Iranian territory and carrying out repeated strikes.” The mock attack on Iran will happen this month, as part of a broader Israeli military exercise called “Chariots of Fire.”
The question is are the people aware? Are they supportive of this aging Warhawk president we have undefined that the media refuses to call a mad, mad dictator?
People are aware of one thing and that is how our out of control support for Ukraine is destroying our economy and our way of life.
According to a new poll undefined Americans are becoming less supportive of punishing Russia for launching its invasion of Ukraine if it comes at the expense of the U.S. economy, a sign of rising anxiety over inflation and other challenges..
According to the poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Now 45% of U.S. adults say the nation’s bigger priority should be sanctioning Russia as effectively as possible, while slightly more — 51% — say it should be limiting damage to the U.S. economy.
In April, those figures were exactly reversed. In March, shortly after Russia attacked Ukraine, a clear majority — 55% — said the bigger priority should be sanctioning Russia as effectively as possible.
Yes it is beginning to look like the blue and yellow icons on Facebook are fading into history
The shifts in opinion reflect how rising prices are biting into American households.
Surging costs for gas, groceries, and other commodities have strained budgets for millions of people — and perhaps limiting their willingness to support Ukraine financially.
Ask yourself are you willing to starve and suffer because of one man who doesnundefinedt realize that he is too far over his head and that people are not going to continue to support his lunacy?
Oh, I know it is the American way to help other people, but in helping other people, we have to know how to help ourselves.
But Biden wants us all to kill ourselves, starve to death, cut back, stay home and shut up. The Media tells us that he is doing important things to secure our freedoms.
Can anyone see that this is one big, colossal Joke?
But hey it was fashionable and hip to be Warhawks and supporters of war undefined because somehow we were all convinced this was three right war undefined and guess why NO WAR is the right war,
Someone needs to think long and hard about the propaganda that plagued the last administration undefined the idea that Trump would push the button and annihilate us all because the media and all of the limousine liberals of Hollywood said so.
Joe Biden is becoming the monster he wishes to vanquish.
All hail king nothing undefined now if we can only afford to buy him a crown.
It no longer sounds hyperbolic to me that Biden’s mental decline will put us in a position like rats in a sinking ship, and will use their itchy trigger fingers to swing their missiles in a wagging the dog contest.
Despite what most experts say: that the chances of a nuclear war are slight. And despite what others say about the Ukraine war- Bidenundefineds soft voice of war is suddenly a lot more terrifying than Trumpundefineds bellicose commands and mean tweets.
Perhaps people are too ignorant to see through the propaganda. To have some group to hate is always “uplifting.” But we are all responsible for the consequences of our actions, even when those actions are just buying the propaganda and hating those one is told to hate. It is very hard to accept that the leaders of your own country commit and contemplate unspeakable evil deeds and that they wish to control your mind.
To contemplate that they might once again use nuclear weapons is unspeakable but necessary if we are to prevent it.
