MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
There were a lot of emails sent to me asking why I was not talking about the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. I stated at the beginning of my show that I wanted to observe the aftermath of the situation before I commented because I really did not want to has out all of the political claptrap that has been pushed and it is aggravating to see how the reactions of the so called left have been based primarily on the talking points of the mainstream media.
We are now learning and in some cases by their own reporters that in the end they were not being as truthful as they could have been about the case and now it has turned into a racial issue as it appears that those who did not agree with the outcome have assumed some outrageous ideas that have been pushed undefined and that the court of public opinion tends to be wrong, and it is all by design.
If you believe the Twitter verse and some of the non-fact checked opinions that have been posted on Facebook there are quite a few people who believe that Kyle Rittenhouse is a White Supremacist that murdered black protesters during a Black Lives Matter gathering.
A number of people I follow seem to believe the men he shot were Black which I think says something about the level of engagement with the specifics of the case.
The largest media outlets in Brazil this week had to retract their articles on the Rittenhouse case because they claimed it was a case of a white youth having shot and killed two black men. They got this from the US media, which deliberately cultivated this false narrative.
The truth is that all three of the shooting victims were white. But for some reason a few news outlets and Twitter seem to think that Rittenhouse targeted three black people and murdered them in cold blood.
I am completely beside myself -wondering how anyone could be more wrong.
Cold blooded murder means that it was premeditated and of course we learned that it wasnundefinedt and again how is it that people think he killed black protesters.
Iundefinedd be willing to bet that roughly 75% of the people sitting on social media spewing hatred and rage over the verdict did not bother to watch much or even any of the trial.
Think about that, in the most high-profile trial for years, the press can’t even be relied upon to get the race of the victims right.
Is this an accident? Of course not.
It’s all part of a disinformation campaign designed to turn one tragic violent incident into a narrative that serves a bigger agenda by further dividing the public into racial and political factions.
The entire Kyle Rittenhouse situation is a perfect example of how an incident can be created, then exploited in the media, to create bitter political divisions and distract the public from greater issues.
I think it needs to be said that “caring about politics” in modern America amounts to hopping from one manufactured “issue” to another like a frog on lily pad, selecting from the narrow band of “opinions” that will not get you in trouble with your “allies”. However, we are learning that it will not make you popular at Thanksgiving gatherings or office Christmas parties.
I have always observed that politics cloud any topic but people never learn and even though I comment on what is happening. I try to give a different view but the majority of people cannot escape the 4 A.M. talking points that are used to frame every event as a political one .
Once you realize the ride just never stops, and that almost every “issue” is at most tangentially related to the actual lives of the people yelling, it all feels kind of silly.
But the serious part is that thanks to the media and their extremist left right propaganda we are no longer the land of the free and home of the brave -we have become the land of provocations and counter-provocations, and this lends itself to instability.
Important issues all become that bread and circuses mayhem of mental mendacity or untruthfulness.
Names, faces, ethnicity and political views all take precedent after we see the aftermath of the chalked-out bodies and body bags.
When the smoke clears, all that is left is the commentary from victimized organizations and a media that is so obliged to push their political agenda by suing magic words to get a reaction from those who are too busy to analyze the trivial truths that are hidden under the layers of lies that exist.
The reframing of basic everyday scenarios in order to elicit the maximum fear and political response with almost scientific precision is not by chance. Social engineers understand that by framing questions in a certain manner such that they directly target undefinedautomatic motivations, undefined basic evolutionary mechanisms can be activated and weaponized.
The general public really doesnundefinedt know how its convictions are generated.
But it is not too difficult to figure it out.
I have always seen myself as a fiscal conservative and a social liberal, meaning that I do have issues of concern that I believe should not be judged politically but I cannot escape the political gaslighting that goes on in this country and the attitude that if you show discernment of skepticism for any manufactured side – you will regret it.
But after reading and observing all of the aftermath in the Kyle Rittenhouse saga, I have to stop and point out that people always argue over the talking points that have been created by the media. No one picks up on the nuances of nudge theory and neurolinguistic programming that generates a schism undefined or division. While the media will tell you that the problem is conspiracy theory and misinformation undefined they never point the finger at themselves and they will never tell you they do their magic tricks of distraction to fit an agenda.
The last two years have seen a culmination of a nearly century-long effort to perfect social engineering and psychological warfare techniques in the Western world. Some observers have remarked that a significant portion of the population appears to be under a spell. They may be closer to the truth than they think.
Governments across the Western world have been using undefinedNudge Theoryundefined and Neuro Linguistic Programming to effectively change peopleundefineds behaviors without their conscious knowledge.
Neuro Linguistic Programming includes the idea of undefinedre-framingundefined peopleundefineds perception of reality by changing the context in which various situations or realities are viewed by individuals.
Therapeutic techniques associated with NLP are often described as having magic-like qualities. While these techniques may be considered neutral and potentially very useful for clients wishing to resolve personal issues, they can by their very nature be weaponized and used to redefine peopleundefineds perception of reality.
By undefinedre-framingundefined an individualundefineds perception and transforming their undefinedlinguistic model, undefined they may be convinced to make choices that they would not consciously make were a wider or alternative undefinedcontextundefined presented.
An individuals perception of what is happening in the news is also vital in constructing the framework to push an agenda undefined and people are forced into taking sides which puts you in thew labeling bin of conservative or liberal.
But labels are for cans of beans undefined and well we seem to be acting like we are in a vegetative state when it comes to the big lies told to us by the media.
We now can say that the the media has created a schism in this country by reporting confusing stories that are meant to force people into demanding more information.
Those who get barely enough tend to spin conspiracy theories and when the media needs a distraction, they create them too.
It is a way to string us along – and usually the payoff really does not give us anything to edify our sense of well-being.
After America invaded Iraq and failed to turn up weapons of mass destruction, the press went into CYA mode. Pundits who’d panted for war now cooked up a new narrative, that the WMD “mistake” had been caused by a combination of faulty intelligence, over-confident officials in the George W. Bush White House, and one New York Times writer named Judith Miller. Everyone else who so forcefully screwed the pooch on that story, emerged either unscathed, or draped in awards and promoted.
Same thing is happening now with the Steele Dossier and Russia gate is falling apart and the industry is again building battlements to protect careers from a cascade of humiliating revelations.
We have seen the media do this many times undefined when they are caught lying to the public, they hope that you forget the details of their lie and if there are inconsistencies that come up much later undefined the media can explain that they must have had some pretty bad sources and that they are sorry for any miscommunication.
There is an old saying in journalism: You’re only as good as your sources- they are hoping that saying I am sorry after the fact makes things all better- they want bygones to be bygones and that all is forgiven undefined but is it really?
There was a rush to judgment from the media in that case as it was reported that a young boy named Nick Sandmann, who donned a MAGA cap was accused of mocking Native American, Nathan Phillip at a Washington DC rally.
The footage, which went viral on the internet, led to widespread criticism of the boys.
However, additional video footage provided further details of the incident which exonerated the boys from any misconduct. It was a case of disingenuous exploitation to fit an agenda.
The case was manipulated to demonstrate how in MAGA country people who support Trump are disrespectful inherently racist, sexist and xenophobic. The majority of Americans that watch the footage made a judgement that Nick Sanmann should be slapped, or beaten or even killed.
But later it was shown that Sandmann was not trying to bother anyone. He sued the major networks for defamation.
Sandmann, recently settled defamation lawsuits with CNN and the Washington Post and has six more in the works. So far he has settled for $275 Million dollars.
In fact, Sandmann commented recently that Kyle Rittenhouse should sue the media and the President for calling him a White supremacist.
Sandmann was 16 when the media firestorm targeted him, while Rittenhouse was 17 when he fatally shot two men and injured one man during riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rittenhouse, now 18, pleaded not guilty, arguing that he acted in self-defense, and a jury acquitted him on all five charges.
The verdict “sparked outrage”, and protests over the acquittal sprang up all over the country. President Joe Biden “urged calm”, but that was highly disingenuous.
Even my Governor issued a tweet saying that undefinedmost people are in pain today about the verdictundefined -speaking as if everyone is in agreement that Kyle Rittenhouse was a demon rather than an angel undefined maybe he was neither, but the verdict must have really surprised those who believed the set up that the mainstream media created.
The truth is the establishment wants those protests and wants them to be anything but calm. They feed on that type of chaos.
Violence of course broke out again in the wake of the verdict undefined in my hometown of Portland Oregon - the rage was evident as fires broke out and protests turned to chaos.
The mayor again condemned the violence but encouraged peaceful protest undefined when are the leaders going to stop with the semantics? None of the protests appear to be peaceful and even though the leaders condemn the violence they become apologists for those who gather in the first place.
It is becoming more or less a lesson in live action role playing or LARPING rather than serious and meaningful protest.
This violence appears to be encouraged as police forces were being ordered to stand down, and let the riots run their course.
The nurtured violence and police inaction was always going to result in vigilantes attempting to restore order on their own terms. And that was always going to end in violence.
It is a wonder that we havenundefinedt seen more Kyle Rittenhouses.
It’s interesting to note that whether or not you were surprised by the not guilty verdict entirely depends on where you get your information .
Anyone reading or watching mainstream “left” or “liberal” outlets will almost certainly think of the boy as a white supremacist who shot three black protesters on purpose, and consider his guilt a foregone conclusion.
Of all the willful lies and omissions in the media’s coverage of WMD, Steele dossier, and the Covington kids, and so on, nothing beats the evil propaganda peddled about Kyle Rittenhouse.
They try to make the Rittenhouse case about race, but it’s about class, punching down at the white working-class son of a single mother because they don’t see him as fully human, and it makes them feel good.
They lie about him because they can.
The central media narrative is that Kyle Rittenhouse is a white supremacist whose mother drove him across state lines with an AR-15 to shoot Black Lives Matter protesters. All lies.
He lived 20 miles from Kenosha in Antioch, Ill., with his mother and sisters. But his father, grandmother, aunt, uncle, cousins and best friend live in Kenosha. He had a job as a lifeguard in Kenosha and worked a shift on Aug. 25 before helping clean graffiti left by rioters at a local school.
There, he and his friend were invited to join other adults who had been asked by the owners of a used car lot in Kenosha to guard the property after 100 cars had been torched the previous night, when police abandoned the town to rioters. Kyle took his gun to protect himself, since the rioters were violent and armed, including, for instance, Antifa medic Gaige Grosskreutz, who lunged at him with a loaded Glock pointed at his head before he was shot in the arm.
There is also that lie that Rittenhouse took his AR-15 across state lines. His rifle was kept in a safe at his best friend’s stepfather’s house in Kenosha.
There is also the lie that the gun was illegal, Under Wisconsin law, he was entitled to possess the AR-15 as a 17-year-old. The judge dismissed the gun charge, which the prosecution never should have brought.
The media however continued to push the issue for their gun control agenda.
The media also reported that Rittenhouse’s mother drove him across state lines to the riot. the truth is that Wendy Rittenhouse, never went to Kenosha. She slept late the morning of August 25th after working a 16-hour shift at a nursing home near her home in Antioch, she told the Chicago Tribune. Kyle had already gone to his job in Kenosha when she woke up.
MSNBCundefineds Joe Scarborough reported that Rittenhouse was a 17-year-old kid just running around shooting and killing protesters, who drove across state lines with an AR-15 and started shooting people up.”
On Friday, after evidence in court already had debunked his talking points, Scarborough called Rittenhouse a “self-appointed militia member … unloading 60 rounds.” When the defense called out the lie in closing arguments, Scarborough had the gall to tweet that he was “embarrassed” for the lawyer.
When Joe Biden was running for President, he called Rittenhouse a White Supremacist as well.
When White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked to explain why recently, she slyly slimed Rittenhouse again, without naming him, as a “vigilante.”
In one story, the Intercept used the term “white supremacist” 16 times. The accusation has become holy writ, but there is zero evidence. The FBI scoured Kyle’s phone and found nothing about white supremacy or militias, the court heard. All they saw were pro-police, “Blue Lives Matter” posts from a kid who had been a police and fire department cadet, wanted to be a police officer or paramedic and once sat near the front of a Trump rally. That was enough for the media to brand him a white supremacist.
Kyle Rittenhouse was interviewed by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, his first media appearance after the verdict. Rittenhouse insisted that his actions “had nothing to do with race,” and expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement and peaceful demonstrations.
Another lie is that the Judge in the case was also a Trumpy racist and biased.
Justice Bruce Schroeder told a lame joke about Asian food for lunch being held up by the supply-chain crisis, and it became a major news story on CNN.
Unbelievable.
Schroeder is a Democrat, has run as a Democrat for the Wisconsin Senate and was first appointed by a Democratic governor.
Curses that narrative is foiled again undefined but apparently those with a left bias didn’t notice.
On the second day of jury deliberations , the judge railed against media distortions, although he seemed most aggrieved about attacks on his reputation, rather than Kyle’s.
These misconceptions were deliberately fostered in order to turn the trial into a “race issue”.
Some media outlets were even going as far as to saying that the verdict is proof of white privilege undefined tweets went out claiming that if it were a white kid on trial he would have lost and would have been jailed for life.
Meanwhile another case was ignored by the mainstream media where a black man was acquitted of murder is a similar self defense trial.
A jury found Andrew “A.J.” Coffee IV, not guilty of second-degree felony murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer by discharging a firearm and one count of shooting or throwing a deadly missile.
The charges related to a March 19, 2017, fire fight between a Sheriff’s Office Swat team.
In a separate proceeding Friday, the same jury convicted Coffee of one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. This violation could get him a 30-year sentence.
It is obvious that a lot of the talking points in the Rittenhouse case have been manufactured political theatre designed to split the nation along racial divides.
This has resulted in protests that have turned ugly -and some even believe that the recent tragedy where a man drove his SUV into parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin may have been in response to the verdict.
Sunday afternoon a red SUV driven by a black man plowed into the Waukesha Christmas Parade, killing five people and injuring more than 40 others. Police are saying that the suspect was fleeing a knife fight undefined but it will be investigated as an act of terrorism.
The suspected driver, 39-year-old Darrell Brooks, is facing five counts of first-degree intentional homicide, police said. Court records show he has an extensive rap sheet dating back to 1999.
Meanwhile, another ugly story is showing that people are no longer capable of human empathy as Illinois Democrat Mary Lemanski appeared to portray the tragedy as a form of payback for Friday’s acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha.
Mary Lemanski resigned from her position as social media director of the Democratic Party of DuPage County, Illinois, after she made comments that the parade tragedy is Karma for what happened in Kenosha.
One of the earlier social media posts from Lemanski about the Christmas parade tragedy read: undefinedIt was probably just self-defense,undefined with the hashtags undefinedWisconsinundefined and undefinedKyleRittenhouse.undefined
undefinedLiving in Wisconsin, he probably felt threatened, undefined read another post attributed to Lemanski, referring to the SUV driver in the Waukesha case.
The messages appeared to mock the self-defense argument that Rittenhouse and his defense team made during their recent trial .
undefinedThe blood of Kyle Rittenhouse’s victims is on the hands of Wisconsin citizens, undefined she writes at one point, undefinedeven the children.undefined
Lemanski appeared to attempt a less snarky but still judgmental tone in another message.
undefinedI’m sad, undefined she wrote. undefinedI’m sad anytime anyone dies. I just believe in Karma, and this came around quick on the citizens of Wisconsin.undefined
undefinedYou reap what you sow, Wisconsin, undefined she wrote in another post.
And later: undefinedIt’s sad people died, but when you open the door to vigilante justice, everyone seems threatening.undefined
On her Facebook page, she wrote Nov. 15 about a undefinedwhite wing groupundefined trying to prevent her from speaking at a school board meeting. She later accuses the group of being undefinedfascistsundefined who shut down undefinedall opposing viewpoints.undefined
No matter how you slice it undefined you see that those who say they are being threatened by fascists sound as if they espouse brutality and inhuman activities for those they do not agree with.
It is even sad to see that the media is focusing on these distractions when other news stories that are being ignored undefinedincluding the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell.
Maxwell, is accused by prosecutors of recruiting and grooming underage girls for the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The media has decided to take on the responsibility of reminding us just how racist we are and that people like Rittenhouse are murdering thugs because he attacked their own special gang of enforcers.
People who were felons, and one of them a pedophile. Rittenhouse did not know this, but these factors have not been discussed by the media undefined it would not add to their agenda of empathizing with the crowd that attempted to harm Rittenhouse.
while all of this is going on, there’s no discussion of the really important issues.
The mass transfer of power to the state. The hysterical witch hunt-like social atmosphere. The ever-increasing rate of unemployment and poverty. The frightening power of monopolies.
All put aside so that Democrats can hate Republicans, and black and white people can fear each other. Resentment, bitterness, anger…all cultivated and nurtured, and all for what?
We all need to stop and consider who we demonize and why?
We all know who Kyle Rittehouse is undefined but do we know who all of the rioters are who set fire cities over the weekend? Will they ever stand trial for their hand in continuing the chaos?
The bottom line here is that the media failed to bring up the most basic talking point about the situation.
What to do when faced with a fatal beating and using your weapon as a last resort to survive.
Would you be obliged to to submit yourself to this risk? Would you expect the right to defend yourself from it?
During the incident Rittenhouse didn’t care who he shot. He was a scared kid lying on the ground being attacked by adults.
It is the media that made it political undefined the media has made this a race issue and the court of public opinion has made it worse.
None of the talking points they pushed required no critical thinking. In fact, the media and even the government discourage it.
The messages that they send are specifically crafted to bypass conscious processes and directly speak to undefinedautomatic processes.undefined
They are meant to be a distraction as they are known for causing a reaction.
