As the media tries to get you to observe the January 6 one year anniversary as the Day of Insurrection, they certainly want you to see it as comparable to Pearl Harbor Day, or even worse, 9/11. It can be argued that January 6 was, indeed, a dark day in American history; it started as a peaceful Democracy check that turned into a criminal riot stoked by a troubled president.
